CONTRACTOR: APAC BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & PARTNERSHIP MANAGER

The APAC Business Development and Partnership Manager is responsible for building and maintaining supplier and partner relationships, contract management and overseeing the supply of components for Tardis, a smart home device company in the USA.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Motherboard Business Development: build relationships with computer board suppliers, help to negotiate contracts, partnerships and an affordable and reliable supply line of computer boards. Examples include Shenzen / BPI, Radxa / Rock Pi etc…..
  2. Storage Business Development: build relationships with component suppliers, help to negotiate contracts, partnerships and an affordable and reliable supply line of hard drives and solid state drives. Examples include Seagate, Western Digital, Toshiba, SSD manufacturers.
  3. Component Business Development: build relationships with component suppliers, help to negotiate contracts, partnerships and an affordable and reliable supply line of hard drives and solid state drives. Examples include power supplies, cooling fans, enclosures etc…...
  4. Manufacturing Partnership Development: identify and build relationships with manufacturing partners to assure the reliable and steady production and delivery of product from prototype units to production units, including procurement of components, product assembly, software installation and packaging.
  5. APAC fulfillment: identify and build relationships with fulfillment partners to assure an affordable and reliable fulfillment process including the oversight of product shipping and returns.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Proficiency in Mandarin and English.
  2. Located in or near Shanghai or Shenzhen.
  3. Experience with computer technology business development and manufacturing.

  1. Prior experience working at one or more of the companies listed above.
  2. Prior relationships with companies such as the examples listed above.
  3. Manufacturing relationships to assist with the acquisition of components at scale to reduce unit cost.
